Local Statistics About How Toronto Perceives Personal Safety
In May of 2002, The Task Force on Community Safety (part
of Toronto Council) conducted a survey to see exactly how
people felt about living in this great city.
They provided communities with surveys asking specific
questions about what area they lived in, their age, and
what type of household they lived in. Here are a few results
we found interesting.
Young males seem to feel more concerned
about their safety than females...Interesting.
This is the breakdown of different areas
in the city. Jane-Finch residents are the most concerned.
It's clear that a large number of people, especially youths,
feel unsafe in their neighborhoods. To read more about this

of Toronto Website.
