- Presently serving as the Northern Ontario Chair for Provincial Advisory Committee for Basketball Ontario
- In Timmins: past Executive member of McIntyre Curling Club, Porcupine Men's Basketball, Men's Fastball and Slow Pitch League
- Former umpire, head of basketball officials, course conductor for NCCP Level I and II Coaches Certification program
- Coached and organized basketball, volleyball, track and X- country running for the Rainbow School Board
- In 2002, received Ontario Basketball Association recognition award for "Outstanding Dedication to the Game of Basketball"
- Co-founded Sudbury Lakers Girl's Basketball Club in 1996
- Member and past executive member of Greater Sudbury Basketball Officials Association since 1991
