Valley East Waves Swim Club

About This Group

The Valley East Waves Swim Club offers programs for Competitive, Pre-Competitive and Recreational Swimming (adult Masters).

The club instills the life values in time management, dedication and self motivation to achieve fitness and hae fun.

Promoting a healthy lifestyle no matter what program they offer is an important part of the club.  They provide a safe environment under the guidance of qualified lifeguards and instructors, and they encourage a positive social atmosphere with team spirit.  Most of all, they promote personal best.

The Valley East Waves have represented the tea, the region, and the province at all levels of competition.  They are truly making waves!

Two members of the waves have represented Ontario in the Canada Games; one swimmer was a Special Olympic Representative.  Athletes who have been members of the Valley East Waves have taken away many valuable lessons that have helped in many life situations.

The Waves have received a Trillium Grant that was used to better their training and to improve the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre.
